Increase the cumulative capacity of medium-scale renewable energy (according to Ontario REA eligibility, this includes wind projects with a name plate capacity between 3kW-50kW, or with sound power levels less than 102 dBA; and solar projects with a name plate capacity greater than 10kW) in Durham Region.
About this indicator:
Cumulative capacity refers to the total amount of power that can be generated from existing energy installations. In other words, it indicates the potential of the Region’s renewable energy resources. MW is used to measure the capacity of energy generation installations, indicating the maximum output they can sustain under specific conditions.
