The 5 Year Restoration and Naturalization Plan was identified as a priority in the Urban Forest Technical Study approved by Ajax Council in 2023. The 5 Year Restoration and Naturalization Plan was developed to support achieving the 30% urban canopy cover target. The plan was approved by Ajax Council in 2024.
