To further build the EV charging station network across the Town of Whitby, the Town is working to install additional EV Charger Stations through funds provided by Round 3 of the Zero Emissions Vehicle Infrastructure (ZEVI) Program.

Description
The Town will be installing ten additional Level 2 charging stations and two Level 3 (DC Fast Charging) stations. The proposed locations at Town facilities have been selected based on proximity to existing charging infrastructure, ability for existing mechanical equipment to support the infrastructure, and access for public, employees, and fleet vehicles. The installations for these stations will be completed by end of Summer 2024.
